Workspace Show by Rainlight

Rainlight designed the Boost ottoman to showcase the durability and flexibility of Carnegie’s innovative Xorel knit fabric. As the first furniture piece launched by Carnegie’s new Space division, Boost charmingly demonstrates how form can follow fabric. Each cushion in the stack is upholstered in complementary fabrics, evoking the feel of using fabric remnants to cover each layer.

In collaboration with OboLife, the UK dealer for Worksmith by Arcadia, we created a lounge that envisions the future of shared workspaces. This design captures the fleeting nature of our world, accentuated by the recent shift to remote working and our reliance on digital communication, bringing the outside world into our homes in a novel way.

Constructed with sustainability at its core, the lounge features raw aluminum profiles and expanded metal mesh, both of which are 100% recyclable and free from harmful coatings or processes. The choice of raw aluminum emphasizes durability, sustainability, and a refined aesthetic. Material design was adeptly handled by AASK US, aligning with Rainlight’s and OboLife’s design aspirations. The flooring, provided by Interface, is CO2 negative, further enhancing the lounge's commitment to environmental responsibility..
