Momento Mori by Fredrikson Stallard

Developed for Fredrikson Stallard, this unique furniture piece was brought to life through the innovative use of 3D textures and parametric design. The process began with the creation of textures from cardboard boxes, which were then used as a basis for the parametric modeling. These textures provided a distinct tactile quality that was crucial to the design.

The final piece was cast in bronze, capturing the intricate details of the original textures and transforming them into a durable and elegant form. Designed by Ian Stallard and Patrik Fredrikson, this furniture piece combines artistic vision with technical precision. My development work ensured that the transition from cardboard textures to bronze casting was seamless, resulting in a striking and functional object.
